A massage where warm and then cold water is projected under high pressure (up to 4 atmospheres) from a shower-like device for an extra-strong massage over the patient’s entire body for 20 minutes. It’s recommended as a final stage in a series of massage showers (Charcot showers), and also as an individual treatment for those who are accustomed to contrast treatments.
The shower room is equipped with built-in ceiling and wall hydromassage shower spouts. It is intended for water treatments to help the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Water from above can fall like rain, a waterfall or cascade, or mist. Hydromassage jets are installed on the walls.
Shower settings (set at client preference):
Rain – the imitation of heavy rain is invigorating yet relaxing. It relieves muscle tension and improves mood.
Cascade or Waterfall – the flow of water using this function hits the head and collarbone in a way which relaxes the muscles and back of the neck. The results of this setting can be seen in improved spine mobility, the reduction of headaches and an improvement in mood.
Mist – this setting finely disperses water drops, creating the illusion of mist. It refreshes and energises.
Hydromassage – this massage uses water jets to stimulate different parts of the body. It improves blood supply, increases the metabolism, and relieves nervous tension. The strong jets accelerate the splitting of fat, increasing skin tone and skin elasticity, ultimately correcting the figure.
A welcoming ritual with a rinse and foot scrub relaxes, relieves fatigue and nervous tension. It’s ideal for preparing for follow-up treatments.
(only available as an additional service)
The spa plunge pool is equipped with jets for hydromassage of various parts of the body (back, hip, lower leg and foot) and chromotherapy. Using warm water, massage jets deeply and painlessly relax muscles submerged in water. Hydromassage improves blood supply, strengthens the metabolism, eliminates swelling, and relieves nervous tension.
